This morning, I noticed two rooftop remains of Faller's Wehrgang in my storage box.
They prompted the design of a gate at the beginning of the access road to the abbey.
By gluing both parts together, I got a nice roof that I wanted to do 'something' with...

In the absence of Faller lamp sets and mini cable lights, I have taken some replacement lighting from the old box.
This former Viessmann gaslantern is very suitable for this purpose...

What was initially envisioned as the interior has now definitively become the exterior. Plastered walls with signs of aging and chipped plaster.
This is exactly the atmosphere I was looking for...

Do you remember the monk who descended through a small gate outside the wall of Stift Cochem?
I've imagined a gate in the opposite wall at exactly the same height, so someone like this chap can easily access the Abbey on the other side.
